I have a wide variety of students that have many different needs and come from many different backgrounds. We are a Title I school, with around 35% receiving free or reduced lunch. I love to start the year off by reading a novel to the students. The book I read is a Judy Moody book, which is the first of a series. This causes the kids to want to pick up the next ones and continue reading. I would like to do the same with Magic Tree House books.
