I teach in an inner city Title 1 school with 18 first graders. We are a high needs school and it is a struggle to get basic supplies. Many of our parents have minimum wage jobs or no job at all. Often they do not have resources to help their children at home. Most of them do not have computers at home. My students love to use the computers. With only a few computers in class, it's impossible to let every child on the computer every day. We have a wonderful program that helps children with reading. My students would be more successful if I had more computers.
