These books will give options for students to read during their independent reading time and for them to take home to read after school. These are graphic novels and books which I know are a big hit with fifth grade students and a great way to get them engaged and excited about reading! Often, struggling readers will refuse to read because the books they have available are boring to them. With your help I can give my students options for reading that they actually want to read. It is so joyful to be able to see students grab a book and not want to put it down because they are so engaged!
