I teach Algebra 1 and Geometry to high school students, mostly 9th and 10th graders. I would say that 85%-90% of the students I teach struggle with math and get easily frustrated and unmotivated to learn the material. Our school has limited funding for classroom tools and manipulatives that may help with learning and motivation. I am always searching for strategies and materials that help motivate my students and help them work together in the classroom, so they can learn the material more efficiently.
