With over 1,300 students our school is one of the largest elementary schools in Chicago. 98% of our mostly African American and Hispanic students come from low income homes. There aren't enough words to describe their resilience. Students have overcome great obstacles, even at such a young age. They have great ideas, passions, hopes, and dreams for a better world that only need to be nurtured.
