Most of my students don't have a lot of money. We have limited resources at our high school. Our high school is beautiful but not all students have access to high-quality technology. My students will be doing research projects, playing learning games, looking up recipes and preparing food, using an online Spanish dictionary, writing narratives and argumentative essays, making videos, listening to Spanish music, and presenting projects with technology. My students will learn more Spanish and have a more open mind in regards to the world around them if they have this technology. They will be able to communicate with other Spanish speakers in Spanish speaking countries to understand their customs and culture better.
I want my students to graduate high school by having near-native fluency in Spanish. They will have the skills to be critical thinkers, problem solvers, and leaders after graduation. By having this technology, my students will learn these critical skills in order to reach their dreams and goals in the future.
