We have 23 wonderful third graders in our class! They work so hard every day and are actively engaged in thinking critically, making connections, and learning collaboratively. Our class connects with learners outside of our classroom and school via Twitter and we also do service learning projects. Most of the time, students spend the academic portion of their day within our classroom and we try to provide opportunities for movement, we even sometimes jump rope our word study words! We are always looking for ways to stay actively engaged in learning. While we get up and move as much as we can, we are somewhat limited on space and we would love to have some additional seating choices to help students get their excess energy out and maintain focus and active engagement in class.
