This year has honestly been a struggle for my students with the coronavirus but we will be stronger for it in the long run.
Last year was very difficult because our students had to be virtual during the pandemic and our live interactions had to be limited.
The class I teach is Academic Study Skills. It is my responsibility to teach our students the skills to be able to be successful in all of their classes to show success here, into high school, and hopefully into a trade school or college setting.
It is crucial to start teaching our students the skills to be successful in school early on. With your donation, I will be able to provide my students with pencils, lead, binders, pencil pouches, highlighters, and paper. I cannot teach proper organization and help support their grades in all classes if they do not have the ability to store their work safely and keep a planner filled out with their assignments in all of their classes.
Last year and this one have been very difficult for our students and families. They do not have access to basic school supplies because of the financial burden Covid-19 has presented to so many of us. Thank you for your consideration in supporting our amazing Northwest students.
