Science should be hands-on and fun-filled. It should lead the students to asking questions and digging to learn more. I want them to see the life cycle in action. We will use this incubator to watch different animals go through the life cycle, while students chart and document like REAL scientists. After the animals hatch, the students will learn what it takes for a living thing to live. The students will be responsible for taking care of the animals and providing what they need to grow and thrive. They will also learn about being responsible and what it means to take care of a living creature.
