I am a high school art teacher and have wonderful students. Due to the cuts in funding for our schools art supplies are getting very difficult to obtain.
My classes are made up of Art 2 and Advanced Art. More than half of my students qualify for free and reduced lunches and several of them come from a single-parent home. My students are incredibly talented young artists and they need your help.
My school is full of passionate and hardworking teachers and staff. We all do the best we can with what we have. We are a Title I school and I currently have students in my classroom being served. We are really growing as a community and the diversity of our students is growing too.
We need paints, papers, pens and materials to make art. The list of ways we can implement these supplies into our classroom on a daily basis is endless. These supplies will impact my students lives in a very positive way.
