Our students have been learning about moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) and we are requesting the Worker Bee pedometers to help students better understand its value. Being able to track their progress and visually see where they've begun to the present level is a great way of teaching personal fitness goals for a healthier body.
Achieving this level of fitness sixty minutes a day has a huge impact on our student's overall health, academic performance and self-esteem.
These pedometers would motivate students to reach MVPA time during physical education classes and transfer their learning into fitness goals for outside of class time. This would be highly beneficial for students to connect their personal health to their overall wellness.
