My students can be described as lively, witty, fun, and unpredictable. I appreciate the moments when I see them grow into more functional and social individuals. I appreciate the moments when I see them interacting with other staff and peers. I embrace those moments when something as small as walking into the classroom and putting their backpack away, or turning their head when they hear their name. It is moments like those that make each day unique and special. I undoubtedly appreciate my students, my staff, and the memories I have so far of teaching students with individuals needs/Autism.
The school can be described as accommodating and caring; there is supportive and and helpful communication between the principal and teachers.
