Anyone that has taken chemistry remembers how intensive the math can be. Now, imagine doing complicated math problems with a simple add and multiply calculator. Students in my chemistry class can be at a disadvantage because they do not have the proper tools to complete these difficult problems. The document camera will give us the opportunity to review several lengthy problems in the time it would have taken students to recopy their problem on the board. The use of the calculators to complete the problems and the ability to share their work with classmates, will give my students a greater chance of success (especially when doing Stoichiometry).
