Our Chapter book group of 2nd graders encountered the series within a lesson, and were completely enthralled by the series! I have a partial set, but they are falling apart from being read so much already. It's a sign of a good set, but it also means they need to be replaced...or hopefully expanded! A new set would provide an engaging, entry level chapter book that's easy to access and exciting, with strong narrative components a 2nd grader can really see! With the graphic novel format of the series, and the format of this series, it makes a great bridge to more traditional chapter book series.
