My students come from many diverse backgrounds and they are all very loving and caring. Our school is built around the idea of "ohana" or family so we emphasize the importance of taking care of each other and respecting one another. I encourage three take cares in my classroom: take care of yourself, take care of each other, take care of this place. Through these basic rules, my students encourage and support one another both inside and outside of the classroom. Our school takes pride in who we are and strive to do our best. The teachers at our school work together, support one another, and encourage each other. We also encourage families to take an active role in their child's education.
