These two iPads minis will be add to the 2 iPad minis I already have. I will have enough now for a listening center. My students will not need to share the two I have if this grant is funded. Some of my centers this year have five students in them. I use QR Code Listening Centers. Students scan the QR code and listen to books independently! Each video is filtered through safeshare.tv to ensure that students do not encounter any advertisements. This is an amazing resource for a listening center. I was amazed by how easy it is for students to use the iPads on their own. Students simply scan the codes with any QR App to watch books read aloud. I love integrate technology and boosting my students' exposure to fluent reading.
