Everything we do is Tigger-ific!
I am a Media Specialist who is back in the classroom due to cut backs. I take pride in getting my students excited about books and reading. I do not teach with the traditional reading text book. I use class sets to teach the common core state standards. My students say I pick the best books to read, because I was the librarian. I love to hear my students beg me to keep reading when we stop for lessons and activities on the book.
I teach in a low income school in Indiana. My students are very diverse. In addition to Caucasian and African American students, I have many Hispanic and Chinese students who are leaning the English language.
