The students will use these materials to be actively engaged in creating words to read. We will use the magnetic letters and boards in a whole group setting to make words. This activity will reach all learners. It will help with letter recognition and transition into word building and reading and spelling their own words. This will help the children increase their reading fluency and have fun learning to read.
I want my students to know that reading is fun. With hands on manipulatives, students will be engaged ad having fun while learning to read. We will create words together and independently.
