Let me tell you a little about my munchkins. I have 19 different little personalities that come in my room Monday through Friday. My students notice everything and if someone is missing, they become concerned. We see each other as a big family and I love it. My classroom at this time has 10 girls and 9 boys. My students come to school with so much energy and they just know how to brighten up my day. My boys love to play basketball and race during recess and you can always catch my girls playing with chalk or enjoying the monkey bars. My school is located in a urban high-poverty area. I try my hardest to get them to see things that the average six or seven year old may see on a daily basis. Field trips are limited at my school because I try not to ask their parents for money but my students are very grateful for the things I can provide for them when given the opportunity.
