The resources I selected are mentor texts which can be shared in all academic areas. The advances I want my students to acquire are to assist them in becoming stronger writers. These texts will expose my students to different styles of writing, relatable stories or new experiences, exposure to vivid vocabulary while increasing their vocabulary as well as their reading comprehension.
