This new school year poses a new challenge in many ways, but in particularly when it comes to providing individual supplies for each child. Many of my kids come from limited means and parents simply do not have the extra income to comply with the new COVID guidelines when it comes to individual supplies. Many of our families have several children in elementary school, and back to school time is always stressful when it comes to all of the needs we require. Not only are they buying several uniforms for their children, but they also have the dreaded "School Supply List." This year will be especially challenging due to many of my parents of my kids being without a source of income due to COVID.
Each of my kids deserve to have all the supplies they need without being embarrassed or upset that they do not come with everything that some of their peers do on the first day of school. Thank you for your consideration.
