Classroom iPads support and reinforce learning for all ranges of student abilities. Different educational apps and learning websites can provide specific skills and strategies to allow students to access the curriculum. The touch interface is accurate which allows for moving and arranging letters, pictures, numbers and whole words. Apple's iPad, with its integrated multimedia capabilities, reaches students from all ability levels with rich listening, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary-building and hand-eye coordinating experiences. My TK/K students, will be learning letter tracing skills, phonological awareness activities, and phonics (blending and segmenting), all with audio support. For my third through fifth grade students with disabilities, concept building interactions through self-selected books and videos will enrich and motivate them in their learning.
