My school is a Region V Title I school in Georgia. This is the toughest region in the entire district with one of the lowest passing rates. Despite these disparities, I teach 23 energetic and enthusiastic kindergarteners that love to learn and can't wait to be heard. My students love working in pairs and in groups to solve problems, read stories, and share ideas. They are always eager to learn new information and are very excited to use different games, try various activities, or manipulate unknown materials. Some of them (the more challenging few) get bored very easily and respond more favorably to activities that are more like games.
