My students have the love of reading in them and enjoy being read to. Reading is a big part of our daily routine in class, along with our reading from our anthology books, my students enjoy the time I read to them. They love to go to the library and sit with their own books modeling reading. They have such eagerness in improving their reading abilities. Many of them are at the beginning of their reading journey or on the verge of becoming independent readers. They are an energetic and curious group of students who are ready to beginning reading on their own. A listening center and read along books would be a great motivator for many of my students in continuing to improve their reading growth.
