My students are some of the 1.1 million students who attend public schools in New York City. As in most public schools in urban areas they represent the underprivileged and underrepresented populations in our nation.
My students are diligent, creative, enthusiastic learners that attempt to take an active role in their education.
They are incredibly mature and amazing when it comes to the talents they have and are able to share with our school. They always put their best foot forward and approach everything they do with a positive attitude.
My students attend a pre-k to fifth grade school in which more than 99% of students receive free or reduced price lunch. With that being said it is a quite obvious how valuable every educational opportunity and experience is for them.
