I'm part of an unique program for gifted students in grade 3-8th, which is housed at a high poverty middle school in South Florida. Roughly 85% of the students in the program are on free or reduced lunch. My students are in 4th and 5th grade. They love to learn and are always asking questions. Research and project based learning are vital for them. They thrive on looking into topics deeper and becoming an expert on their interests.
