Recess is my students'' favorite "subject." But, when inclement weather prevents outdoor recess, indoor play can be a challenge if I don't have engaging games.
Help eliminate screen-time by helping to fund games that will give my students a break from the school day and will support concentration, cooperation, problem solving and fine motor skills during indoor recess.
It rains a lot where I teach, so indoor recess can happen a lot--this is where old-school board games come in. Connect 4, Rubik's Cube and Etch-A-Sketch are simple games that can provide my students with safe, unstructured play during canceled outdoor recesses.
