Glow day is an activity that feels grown-up, and students never consider this day as an academic day. Glow day will provide an alternative hands-on activity compared to our typical daily lessons. Students will use the fun and engaging materials to find prefixes, suffixes, phonemes, and work on reading comprehension skills. The glow day supplies include lights, paper, highlighters, dry erase markers and reading guiding strips. These supplies are vital in creating an inviting learning environment. With your generosity, we can promote joy in learning and value in education for students with special needs. Gifting these supplies help students realize that there are people who care about them, support them in learning, and want them to succeed in life. These supplies will support learning through multiple means of engagement, representation, and action and expression. Glow day gives students a chance to enjoy creative, hands-on learning in a fun and accessible way.
