My students are part of a self contained and resource classroom. My students have a range of special needs including developmentally delayed, autism and learning disabilities. Everyday is an adventure and we are learning more and more. We are learning to read, sharpening our math skills, practicing and learning our fine motor skills, and writing about all of it. Our school is a Title 1 school where 90% of our students receive free or reduced lunch, the school has a very large minority population where many students are at a disadvantage due to a lack of funding and resources. Even with all if this my students are some of the hardest working group of individuals you will meet with a drive to continue learning.
