Our school is in a neighborhood that is considered "the murder zone." By the title, the area is very volatile. Most of the students receive free or reduced lunch. Our students are having a very difficult time achieving due to many factors relating to poverty. We have many first-year teachers who are overwhelmed by the challenges. The students, when they are working in small groups, are delightful and eager to learn. We desperately need technology to help them achieve.
