All students love to listen to a fun story, especially in MATH class! We will use the mathematical literature to create connections from text to math to everyday life. Nothing gets a math students attention like a read aloud by their math teacher!
I will bring math to life by sharing a good book with a child! Each book opens the door for a new math topic. Those topics can then be practiced in a fun "paper pocket." Instead of the typical "worksheet" we can use these pockets to conserve paper usage and "change up" the way students practice skills.
