I have a class of 22 students. Many of my students come from a low socioeconomic backgrounds, where they have varied access to educational opportunities and various levels of support at home.
With that said, they are a hard-working and caring group students. They love to learn, grow, and explore, and most of them truly enjoy school. My school is in a smaller suburban district that is doing the best it can with the resources and funding that is provided to it. We have a fantastic principal and a great teaching/support staff whose first priority is the students! We have some access to technology and supplemental resources, but the students would benefit from even more resources.
