Our school is a Title 1 school where a large number of children receive free or reduced lunches. On top of the economic disadvantages the students in my classroom are also mildly and moderately intellectually disabled. The students LOVE coming to school to learn, socialize, and grow. It is so delightful when the students complete a task and you can see that they feel successful. We would love to be able to provide the students with multiple items to enable them to reach their goals in reading, writing, math, and communication.
