The school is an urban elementary school. The grades are PreK - 6th grade. The school is filled with wonderful students and teachers. There is a feeling of community unlike other schools that I have been in. Many of the students do not have a lot monetarily but most of them are very eager to learn. The students often offer to take on extra projects and voluntarily come in to work on them during their lunch time or sometimes after school. I love giving them the basic ideas for a project and watching them come up with their own ideas and results.
