Here is an example of what students will do with these supplies. On Monday, students will practice hands-on phonics games such as stack and build phonic flip books, Unlock CVC words, and Rhyme time by matching word family words. On Tuesday, students will practice listening to phonic words and write on whiteboards for whole class practice. On Wednesday, students will practice writing sentences with word family words in small group. On Thursday, students will play challenge with word family words on white boards. On Friday, students will write a word family story with partners and present it to the class. The computer is the device that will tie all of this together by projecting instructions on a board for students to learn and follow along on tasks.
