My Scholars:
Our school is a high poverty urban school. All of the scholars receive free lunch and breakfast. Most students in my classroom do not have the opportunity to use technology on a daily basis. Many of my first graders speak English as their second language. My scholars all have different academic abilities and struggles All of them are eager to learn. They are engaging daily with science topics include non-living and living organisms, solids liquids and gases and weather. Within these units my scholars study in depth concepts such as life cycles, photosynthesis, symbiotic relationships, molecules, evaporation, condensation, water vapor, and weather patterns.
