In my classroom, we have reading intervention time every day for 30 minutes. During this time, we work with small groups to reinforce skills that students are lacking or to push students to higher levels. As I am still a fairly new teacher, my book collection is still very small. I am hoping to incorporate these chapter books in our classroom with my students as they love to be challenged and love to read chapter books. My students love to read and I think by having these exciting and new chapter books, it will get them even more excited to read when they have free time. If these books get funded, I plan to incorporate them into reading intervention time every year.
