My school is a very low income school with an extremely diverse population. Our population is very transient, and we see many students in and out of our classrooms throughout the year. Our students often come without even minimum supplies. With only a $40 budget per teacher for classroom supplies, I often spend money out of my pocket to provide these. Because this can get very expensive, I often have to have students share materials because there is not enough for everyone.
