I teach 2nd grade at a Title 1 school in a rural community. My students' abilities range from special needs to gifted. Many of the students have very little access to technology outside of the school. Our school has 20 iPads for 285 K-5 students that can be checked out. However, they are not always available when needed. I currently have 5 outdated computers in my classroom so having iPad Minis would give more accessibility to students for the use of technology.
