Our school is a Title 1 low income school. We are 99% free or reduced lunch. We also hold the highest population of homeless children in our district. My art classroom sees about 670 students from Kindergarten through 5th grade each week. Most of our students love making art which involves painting and recycled materials. Therefore, we spend a lot of time getting dirty with paint, glitter and mixed media projects.
