I teach first grade at an elementary school in Dearborn. My students are very sweet and adorable. They love to learn and explore. They are very creative thinkers and writers.
We have approximately 390 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. We are a Title 1 school. Our school is becoming more and more culturally diverse. Each year, we receive many new non-English speaking students. We are also faced with students who come from economically disadvantaged families. As a result, they tend to be more transient.
