"Today, more than ever before, science holds the key to our survival as a planet and our security and prosperity as a nation" -President Barack Obama I teach science to about 145 eighth-graders at a high-needs school in Brooklyn,New York. My students come from diverse backgrounds, and have a wide range of learning styles and academic skill levels. That said, each and every one of them has shown a great potential to be a scientist. My student's enthusiasm and curiosity have no limits, and they constantly amaze and amuse me with their ideas and discoveries.
