Having a teaching easel in our classroom is a must to help keep my students' attention while engaging in activities and increase student participation. The teacher/student easel will provide more opportunities for students to practice their writing and math skills as well as provide the use of a variety of manipulative items that will help support them with hands-on learning. My students will be able to listen to stories read aloud and follow the concepts of print in books due to the rack on the board that will support picture books.
