I teach over 95 students in a title 1 middle school in Atlanta. I serve 1 inclusion/special ed class, 1 gifted/accelerated class, and 2 regular ed classes each day. As you can see, the students that I teach are at various instructional levels. My middle school students are extremely energetic and social. Some are highly motivated and gifted in literacy while others struggle with basic reading and writing skills.
I would describe my school as growing in diversity with varied socioeconomic groups of students. Our current enrollment is over 850 students.
