We embrace the "Maker Movement" in our school. The STEM lab allows our students to create, design, tinker and invent in ways they could never imagine. We teach the whole child and make sure that we are preparing them for the future. STEM is more than just robotics and science experiments, STEM is preparing our students for jobs that haven't even been created yet. STEM brings together the critical components of how and why together. Our 580 students from kindergarten to fifth grade all are capable of some pretty amazing things, we as teachers just have to allow them to be 21st century learners. We can do our children no better service than to introduce them to powerful ideas that will shape the rest of their lives.
