I teach first grader in a Title 1 school. My first graders really learn to LOVE to read and desire to find new and interesting books to read! When they find books that interest them it is easy to "hook" them into a love for reading! In our classroom we can have students on many different reading levels and with all kinds of different interests and activity levels. I love to see kids get excited about learning! When students feel safe, loved, and comfortable they can learn even more!

About my class
