Our K-8 elementary school has about 130 students. It is the heart of our rural community. Many generations of some families have been educated at this school. Although our community is not wealthy, they try to be supportive. As with most schools, we are not given a very big budget to get materials for our students.
My students are active learners that struggle with reading and math fluency. They are motivated to improve their skills and enjoy seeing their own progress. They excel with hands-on activities.
