My students are preschoolers with special needs. These needs can include autism, language and speech disorders, sensory issues, and other health impairments. Because my students are preschoolers, even if language and speech is not a primary concern, all of my students are learning to master the English language. For many of my students, English is a second language. My school is a Title 1 school. Many of my students live in poverty and are not able to experience opportunities that I can offer to them at school.
