The space I have to teach the ESL students is small and shared. I am hoping to have additional seating within the classroom for students to sit, learn, and collaborate. The seating is moveable and can be easily arranged for independent study or group study. I could have newcomer students sit together in a group and play a language game or higher language students collaborate on a writing project. I would no longer be tied to only the amount of students I can fit around a table. Flexible seating is an important aspect to teaching in our allotted space.
