I am a 3rd grade math teacher. I believe school should be fun and informative. Most of us are afraid of math. I want to show my students that math can be enjoyable. I want my students to discover the math in our world that surrounds us is not threatening or scary, rather it is manageable. Given the correct tools, my students will become better mathematicians and learn to love math as a way to manage the world around them.
